always wanting to drink
was his condition
his addiction
for he had forgotten
how to not drink
how to be without drinking
but the rest of the folks
who scapegoated him
for his drinking addiction
was no different
or even far worse
if only they come out of
their closed egoic vanity bubble
and see them for the addicts they are
