The Chatterbox In The Head

The never-ending supply of thought dramas to keep you unbored

“what am I going to think
what am I going to think
why and what for?”

he never asked
never had the time-space to ask
for the machine, the chatterbox,
filled it up instantly any headspace
with its never-ending supply
of thought-drama after thought-drama
it tells him how he ought to fill time
he got no f-ing chance
he could not wonder
was it all he was alive for?
to let the chatterbox thrive
though his flesh and blood.

no wonder the chatterbox
invented idiotbox, the TV,
to take a break from its own havoc.
