Thoughts and Felts are Pain

we quickly interpret
feelings or felts as pain
pain, the outsider,
that had fallen upon us
to disturb our peace
and we straightaway go towards
our favorite spot — the movement of thoughts
as our helpful savior against pain
such is the trained mechanical attention
but in unreflectively interpreting thought
as our savior against any difficulty
we miss seeing that very movement toward thought
including the movement of thoughts is pain
of course, not the thoughts that solve technical problems in the now,
but those dear and near ones we carry as our saviors.
